A daughter walks arm-in-arm with her mother down the hallway of their home. Her mother wears the nemara wristband; a small nemara camera sits on the wall behind them.

For the people providing the care

Be there, even when you can't.

nemara lives quietly in their home — learning what their day looks like, noticing the small things only someone close would, and bringing the moment to you when it matters. For the parent recovering from surgery, the one slowly slipping, the one you can't always be next to.

Backed by clinicians from
Here is what nemara is

Three things, kept close.

One for them to wear. A few quiet cameras in the rooms they spend their day. One app in your pocket. Together they let nemara notice the small shifts in their day, catch what matters before anyone else would, and bring the moment to you. The technology disappears into the day; the comfort it provides should not.

on the arm
A simple band

Senses heart rate, body temperature, motion, and sweat. Tells nemara how their body and mind are doing all day.

in their rooms
A few small cameras

Placed in the rooms they spend their day — bedroom, living room, wherever life happens. Each one sees and hears what's around it. A light on the front is on any time it is capturing. Until our wall-mounted version ships in late 2026, early families receive a pre-configured iPhone we send.

in your pocket
A quiet app

On your phone. Shows how their day is going, sends alerts with the moment behind them, and lets you speak to them through the camera in their room with one tap.

The nemara app showing an agitation alert with timestamp, severity metrics, and an incident clip.

An AI that is present through the band and the cameras, learning what is routine and standing on guard for them. When something starts to slip, it lets you know on your phone, with the moment behind it. You stay in charge of every part of it.

What it learns, over time

The small things only someone close would notice.

Week by week, nemara gets to know your person. What calms them, what unsettles them, who matters. The way a thoughtful caregiver would, if they had unlimited time and memory.

A trigger
Sunlit rooms keep showing up before agitation. Three times this week.
An early sign
Tea at 5:30. The day he stops asking, something's off.
A recovery
His gait is steadier than the day he came home from the hospital. A little more, every day.
A pattern
She's been sleeping forty minutes less each night this week. Last week, she slept through.
What calms them
Sitting near the window in the afternoon. It works almost every time.
Shaped by caregivers, every step

We've spent a year listening to the people who do this work.

I'd just gotten him settled. I went to make coffee. I came back and he was on the floor. I don't know how long he'd been there.
Daughter · Houston
He had his knee replaced two months ago. The PT said walk every two hours. I have no idea if he actually does.
Wife · Connecticut
I call her fifty times a day. I'm still not sure what's happening between calls.
Daughter · Taiwan
I'm his sole caregiver. I don't get breaks. He wants me present even when other family is there.
Wife · no outside help
She always says yes when I ask if she's comfortable. The bruises on her hands tell a different story.
Daughter · eight years caring for her mother
On respect, on safety

Built for the dignity of the person in the moment.

AES-256 encryption

The hardest part of this work is being close to someone at their most vulnerable. We have designed nemara so that closeness never costs them their dignity, or yours.

Always lit

A small light on the front of every camera is on any time it is capturing. If the light cannot function, that camera shuts off. There is no silent recording mode, by design.

Scrubbed first

Sensitive moments are stripped from your recordings and permanently erased by default. That includes bystanders' faces, voices that aren't your loved one's, and audio that drifts in from rooms you've kept camera-free.

Encrypted, every step

Everything is encrypted on the device, in transit, and at rest using AES-256. Only you and the people you authorize can decrypt it.

Yours, not ours

Where the cameras are placed. When they're on or off. What nemara is allowed to detect, alert on, or say. What happens to the data. All of it is your call. We never sell it, share it with insurers, or use it to train. You can move, pause, export, or delete anything from your phone, at any time.
